After a week solid of stormy skies and pissing rain, this photo made me remember that there are sunny days ahead. Patience is all I need.
Amazing how much the weather affects my mood. I wanted to rip someone’s head off on Sunday as couldn’t take the cold and dampness any longer. And then Kyle reminded me if the weather is the biggest complaint I have, then life is pretty dang good. I hate it when he’s right.
This is my friend Laura. She’ll probably kill me for posting this photo. We’d just gone walking on the Katy Trail in Dallas and were stopping for a little breakie.
She’s got the spirit of someone who has lived 10+ lives. The wisdom runs deep and I’m always impressed with her creativity.
I’ve been fiddling with our bookshelves for awhile now. Problem is that we don’t have enough ‘stuff’ to fill the space so I’m trying to get creative and approaching it with the mindset that less is more and putting the emphasis on the few objects by grouping them together.
Maybe as I collect things from our travels, my bookshelf will some day look like the above.
I really like photography that makes you feel as if you are in the scene. Without the blurred out plant to the left side of the frame, I’m not sure this image would have the same affect to make you feel like you are standing right there, peering in.
Love the paneled windows and the bench. I could see this passage leading out to a beautiful patio backyard that I recently blogged about. Maybe one day when Kyle and I finally buy a place, I’ll just paste all my favorite blog pictures to create a wonderful little home. Expensive, but wonderful :)
